An animal adult, whether human or non-human, is one who has grown to the fullest extent. The term "adult" is often applied to humans to mean the legal and social aspects. As opposed to someone who is not considered to be an adult or "minor" legally adult has attained majority, which makes them independent as well as responsible and competent. You can refer to them as"major. "major". There is a general belief that the minimum age that a person legally matures is 18. But, it can differ based on the legal rights and the country of origin as well as the development of the individual's psychological.

adulthood is the stage of the lifespan of a human being during which full physical and intellectual maturation has been achieved. Many people believe that the age of adulthood begins at age 20 or greater. The typical middle-age starts at 40 or so years old, and is followed by about 60. The three phases of adulthood are the early years (from mid-30s to late-60s) and middle adulthood, from mid-30s to late-60s and later adulthood, (mid-60s up to the time of death). As we enter the initial stages of adulthood (between 20-40) then our bodies have reached their full maturity even though the weight and height of our bodies may rise slightly. In the early years of adulthood, we are physically peaking. Muscle strength, response time, sensoriac ability and cardiac function are all at their peak.
